I do a lot of field work and I think the encased belt clip is the best out there for iphones. it is not perfect. I had the clip at the end of the holder, brake but Encased replaced it free of charge. I have added a velcro strip to keep the clip on my belt. I find the clip pops off when I’m doing heavy lifting. The velcro keeps it on my belt and the encased holder keeps my iphone safe. An iphone is an expensive investment which is getting more expensive with every tariff announcement.

Clip breaks off easily, so if you’re in a strenuous, physical job it’s going to break. Lucky for the lifetime warranty. Waiting for them to make a phone clip for the iPhone 14 Pro Max with the rugged law enforcement clip.

So far, so good. The great thing about this holster is that it fits 1.5 inch wide belts that are made of thicker leather. My belt is 1/4 inch thick and this holster fits perfectly. This is the only holster I have found to fit wide/thick belts. I have to get used to the top release but that shouldn’t take long. My only improvement suggestion is that I would prefer stronger springs on both the belt clip and the phone retention clip. I’m work on a farm and would prefer more holding power. So far everything holds just fine and I’ve had no close unintended releases but more would be better.
