Looks to protect the phone very well, with minimal additional size and weight added to the phone, and provides a surface that makes the phone easier to hold. All modern phones now are smooth, glassy, and thin, all of which makes them seem easy to drop when holding them. I switched to Encased from another brand that did not develop a case w/holster combo that I’ve used before.
Shipping was fast, got it on launch day (I pre-ordered the phone, so I ended up getting the phone yesterday though). I paid the $2.00 expedited shipping.
I was a little surprised the holster doesn’t cover the corner of the phone where the stylus is, to prevent it from accidentally falling out. My Note9 had that issue, the stylus it came with didn’t click in like it should and it fell out somewhere and I had to buy a replacement ($50). It had nothing to do with the case I had for it (other brand), since that case did cover that area when holstered, but I’ve been very careful since then. The replacement stylus I purchased didn’t have that issue, so it was a slight defect on the stylus side. My Note10+ stylus stays in and requires the necessary force to pull it out, so it won’t fall out at least.
Overall this is definitely a good case, and at very decent price. I will definitely keep Encased on top of my list for future purchases.
