was a little unsure as i haven’t heard of “encased” before, but this is the *only* product i found that essentially lets me switch to a universal type-c charging cable for my older xr. she certainly is chonky! but everything works as expected, and i’m very happy with my purchase — especially given the $15 pricepoint. i do wish you could turn off the case to be a bit nicer to the phone battery, but this ol’ thing is basically on its last legs and on borrowed time anyway. packaging is nice and shipping was reasonably quick. i highly recommend this case to anyone, just don’t forget a screen protector.

Great case. Bulky but it definitely protects. I like the ability to charge the phone separately from the case. Also comes with a very nice screen protecter. It’s a good high quality battery case.
