While waiting for my new Galaxy S22 Ultra to arrive, I began searching for a really good protective case with a belt clip type holster, similar to the Seidio case I had for my beloved Galaxy S5. I found it with the Encased Falcon Shield Screenless Case and belt clip holster. Except that this case is made from more contemporary materials. Couldn’t be happier.

Bought this Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Falcon Shield Screenless Case with Belt Clip Holster February 18, 2022. When it arrived it appeared to be a very good value for the money quality -wise. However, after just six weeks the rotating clip on the holster started to spin freely and would not stay in the position set in.
Contacted encased on April 5 and they were extremely responsive. My warranty claim was granted and a replacement holster was shipped the same day. Subsequent to shipment of the replacement, and before I received it, the original holster and clip had a complete failure. While walking down my driveway the clip and holster completely separated and my S22 Ultra fell to the asphalt. The case did do it’s job however and there was no damage to the phone. Still, I am disappointed in the premature failure of the holster and am hoping this was just an anomaly and that the replacement will provide a reasonable service life. If the replacement holster fails early I will have to look for another avenue as the Encased warranty only provides for a one-time replacement, hopefully this will not be an issue.
